Charity Never Faileth…

Here at Victory our primary mission is to get the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. We strive to achieve this by serving the members of our community as well as supporting on going mission efforts around the world.

“Charity never faileth…” I Corinthians 13:8a KJV

“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” I Corinthians 13:13

Nursing Home Ministry

In an effort to reach those who cannot come to us, once a month a Sunday Service is conducted at the Charlston Place Nursing Home. Nursing home members get to enjoy an in-person service complete with music and a message from God’s Word.
Lead by Brother Steve Sanders

Prison Ministry

Prison Ministries exist to serve those affected by crime and incarceration. Volunteers make weekly visits to correctional facilities sharing the gospel and giving hope to the incarcerated men.

Seed Planting Saturdays

On the second Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM, we step out into the community going door to door. Our goal is to reach the lost with the gospel and invite others to join our church family.

Girls Juvenile Ministry

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Matthew 25:36

Often times the youth that have found themselves in a rabbit hole of mistakes, feel unwanted and unloved. This ministry strives to bring God’s Word to these young ladies while showing them a love that only our Heavanly Father can give.

Chamber of Commerce Fishing Tournament

Each year the church participates in serving the community during the Annual Millbrook Chamber of Commerce Fishing Tournament by providing drinks and lunches as well as handing out Gospel tracts.

Annual Fall Festival

Our church hosts a FREE Annual Fall Festival reaching out to the community through fellowship and family friendly activities. The festival provides hayrides, inflatables, games and activities for the kids with candy and prizes. A meal is also provided for the community. Once again, gospel tracts are given to all visitors.

An Eclectic Christmas

An Eclectic Christmas is a production of AN ECLECTIC MINISTRY. It was the night that saved the world. The star shone so bright in the night sky. There was no room in the inn. Forced out into the cold night air surrounded with animals, Christmas was born in a stable. Come join us in December to experience the true story of the first Christmas. In the atmosphere of an outdoor walking trail, you and your guests will be part of live drama that is set during the Roman Empire. Victory encourages its members to volunteer during this production to experience the true meaning of Christmas.

Victory Christian Academy

Victory Baptist has a unique opportunity to provide an affordable Christian education to K-4 through 12th grade students. God’s word instructs us to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 KJV”. It is our goal to give ample opportunity to all students to know Jesus Christ and trust him as their personal Savior. For more information please see our school website at Victory Christian Academy!

Missions

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given unto us the ministry of reconciliation;” II Corinthians 5:18 KJV

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”
Matthew 28:19-20 kjv

Being missions minded, we support 45 different missionaries out of our church. Every other year we host a Missions Conference to bring awareness to our missionaries around the world. We continue to raise support for their efforts in bringing the Word of God to those who have not heard. Victory strives to invite missionary speakers throughout the year to share with us what God is doing through their ministries.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

I Thessalonians 4:16-18 KJV
