
Joey Byrd
Pastor
Pastor Joey Byrd was raised in a Christian home and trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of five. He has lived in the Elmore/Autauga area for over 40 years and has been a member of Victory Baptist Church during that time.
Pastor Byrd is a graduate of Victory Baptist School and holds a mechanical engineering degree from Auburn University, as well as a Bible degree from Open Bible College.
Pastor Byrd worked for Steris in Montgomery, AL, as a research and development manager before he became the Assistant/Youth Pastor at Victory in 2000. When Senior Pastor Steve Sanders stepped down to Pastor Emeritus status in 2015, the church called Bro. Joey as their new Senior Pastor.
Pastor Joey has been married to Julie (Coleman) Byrd for 27 years. Together they have two sons, Will and Nathan, and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Morgan.

Chip Pullen’s faith journey began when he accepted Christ at nine years old. Raised in a devout Christian home and a member of Victory Baptist Church, his spiritual foundation was solidified. He graduated from Victory Christian Academy in 2006 before pursuing studies in music and business administration in college.
In 2010, Chip married his wife of 13 years, Leslie (Metts) Pullen. His professional journey took a musical turn in 2012 and continued when he joined Gold City Quartet, singing professionally for four years. During this time, he felt a calling to preach, leading him to transition from touring to full-time ministry.
Chip and Leslie are proud parents to Walker (5) and Elise (3). Today, Chip focuses on his ministry, sharing the Gospel with others. His commitment to family, music, and spiritual growth remains unwavering.
