AWANA Club

Victory Baptist Church loves young people! We strive to lead them to a Christlike lifestyle. One of the ways we do this is by having a Wednesday night ministry during our school year. We have an AWANA program for ages 3 through the 6th grade and we also have a youth group program for the 7th through 12th grades. We would love to invite your young person to be a part of the fun we will have. Of course, if you already have a church that you are a part of, then please stay faithful to your church.

Both programs are located at our gym (5480 Main St., Millbrook, AL.) They start at 6:30 and go until 8:00. Doors open at 6:15 for your young person to be able to enter.  The cost for AWANA is $25 per person for the year.

If you are wondering what your child will be doing at these programs, then wonder no more. We love to have fun so we will have a time to play games, we work on memorizing verses, we have a devotional from God’s Word, and we will sing songs. Some nights at AWANA are “theme nights” in which we will dress up wearing something crazy or wacky. It is always a blast to see everyone participate on our theme nights.

Meet our leaders!

The AWANA philosophy believes that the sweet spot of discipleship happens at the intersection of highly relational and highly scriptural. Awana calls this The Great Connection. This disciple-making approach is at the core of every Awana program.

Cubbies Leaders (Pre-K)
Cubbies displays the greatness of God’s character to preschoolers who are constantly asking questions
Sparks Leaders (K-2 Grade)
Sparks ignites a child’s curiosity to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.
T&T Leaders(3-6 Grade)
T&T takes students on a journey by answering their questions about God and the Bible while guiding them to grow in Christ’s love and live out their faith.

Because we have Covid-19 to consider, we will abide by the Governor’s mask mandate in the same way that Victory Christian Academy (VCA) is. In case you are not familiar with the policy, we are asking that whoever enters the building wear a mask.  Once the student is in the classroom, they can remove his/her mask if we are able to social distance. Games will be a little different at first as we try to social distance as best as we can. We also recommend that each young person bring their own water bottle as the water fountains will be unusable.

We hope that you will consider sending your child(ren) to one of our programs this year. We would love to have your young person!!!
